We are currently recruiting for one of our clients for an Inventory Control Specialist position. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring data integrity across all distribution channels. This role serves as a key point of contact for inventory control activities, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain strong internal controls and operational excellence.\n Key Responsibilities:\n Working with both internal and external customers to plan, coordinate, communicate, review and process annual physical inventories for retail stores and Support Center locations. \n Perform transactional analysis to determine cause of shrink and identify potential trends related to shrink.\n Generate transactional level data for the company’s inventory roll forward and validate the data for completeness and accuracy before distribution.\n Identify and resolve issues related to product receiving, purchase orders, intracompany transfers, and distribution center shipments. \n Responsible for the perpetual accuracy, costing of the company’s inventory and shrink calculations.
