Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading warehouse staff to meet productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping
• Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies
• Monitor workflow to ensure efficiency, productivity, and timely order fulfillment
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety programs
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or operational issues
• Coordinate with other departments (purchasing, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare and maintain reports on productivity, inventory, and staffing
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency, cost savings, and cleanliness

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and logistics
• Experience preferred with Warehouse Management Systems (JD Edwards)
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (temperature variations, noise, etc.)

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse setting
• May require overtime, weekends, or shift work depending on operational needs
