We employ 25,000 people globally, more than half located in Asia Pacific.\nRole Summary:\nThis position is for a Senior Software Engineer who will be accountable for the design and development of Real-Time SDK features used by customers to contribute or consume real-time financial content. Experience with deployment of surrounding server-side infrastructure with expertise in infrastructure as code, deployment automation, management is beneficial for this role.\nYou will work with local/remote development team(s) to define software requirements, do technical design and implement software solutions. Your overall goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nDevelop high-quality software and associated documentation from specified requirements\nProducing, testing and debugging code based on design of Real-Time library features in C# (.NET SDK)\nFixing issues raised by customers\nProvide time & complexity estimates for given software feature implementation\nBuild unit tests for your code for best coverage and review QA test plans which exercise the changes\nIdentify, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner\nDevelop and maintain tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code that follows open sourcing standards\nAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting\nReview and debug code\nPerform validation and verification testing\nCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products\nCollaborate with support to isolate issues in product and make fixes\nDocument development phases and monitor systems\nEnsure software is up to date with the latest technologies and standards\nDeploy containerized products into Azure or AWS or other cloud environment\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nMust have\nProven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development.\nStrong knowledge of selected programming languages: C#\nFamiliarity with large scale deployments: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform\nExp erience with low level networking communication\nExperience with socket programming \nExperience in working with TCP/IP and UDP multicast network protocols\nKnowledge of GitLab or GitHub or other source control system\nKnowledge of Jira\nKnowledge of Agile methodology\nAnalytical mind with problem-solving aptitude\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent.
