This position plays a key role in supporting data-informed decision making by overseeing the development, maintenance, and administration of enterprise reporting systems, data warehouses, and data integration processes. Working closely with institutional leadership, the successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data used for strategic planning, regulatory reporting, accreditation, and operational effectiveness.Job Description\nSupervise the Generation of Data Reports (30%):\nDirect the production of data reports, leveraging advanced statistical and reporting tools such as SAS, SQL, Informatica, and Workday. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the generated reports, fostering data-driven decision-making across the institution.\nSteer the Development and Maintenance of the OIERP Data Warehouse (15%):\nLead the strategic planning and continuous enhancement of the OIERP Data Warehouse, encompassing the student warehouse as well. Guarantee the seamless flow of data into this repository, supporting efficient analysis and reporting endeavors.\nManage the ETL System for OIERP/LSU New Orleans(15%):\nOversee the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) system integral to OIERP/LSU New Orleans operations. Streamline data integration processes, ensuring accurate data flows between systems for optimized data management.\nCollaborate with AVP on Programming and External Reporting (15%):\nCollaborate closely with the Assistant Vice President in programming, developing, and crafting external reports intended for state, federal agencies, and accreditation bodies. Play a pivotal role in presenting accurate and insightful data to regulatory entities.\nEvaluate Data Reports from Data Analysts (10%):\nReview data reports generated by other data analysts, employing your expertise to ensure quality, coherence, and adherence to established standards. Provide valuable feedback to foster continuous improvement.\nSupervise the Creation and Enhancement of Data Warehouse (10%):\nManage the development and evolution of the data system responsible for feeding the Business Intelligence System.
