datasets and semantic models based on enterprise standards\nEstablish best practices for report development performance tuning reusability and governance\nStakeholder Client Engagement\nAct as the primary onshore point of contact for business stakeholders product owners and IT leadership\nConduct requirement workshops to translate SSRS reports into optimized Power BI dashboards and reports\nPresent design proposals migration progress risks and outcomes to executive and operational audiences\nDrive business validation UAT coordination and signoffs\nDelivery Team Coordination\nProvide technical and delivery leadership to offshore Power BI development teams\nReview designs Power BI artifacts DAX calculations and dataset models for quality and scalability\nEnsure adherence to timelines delivery milestones and SLAs\nIdentify and mitigate migration risks related to data quality performance security and user adoption\nGovernance Security Performance\nImplement Power BI governance models including workspaces deployment pipelines and access controls\nEnsure rowlevel security RLS and compliance with enterprise security standards\nOptimize datasets using star schema modeling aggregations and DirectQueryImport strategies as applicable\nDefine standards for versioning documentation and operational handover\nAdoption Enablement\nSupport Power BI adoption by defining report usage standards and user experience principles\nGuide business users transitioning from paginated SSRS reports to interactive Power BI experiences\nContribute to training materials and knowledge transfer sessions as needed\nRequired Skills Experience\nMustHave\n8 years in BIreporting platforms with strong handson Power BI experience\nProven experience leading SSRS to Power BI migration programs in large enterprises\nDeep expertise in\nPower BI Desktop Service and Premium capacities\nDAX Power Query M and data modeling\nSSRS architecture subscriptions and report types\nStrong understanding of SQL Server data warehouses and dimensional modeling\nExperience working in onshoreoffshore delivery models\nExcellent clientfacing communication and leadership skills\nGoodtoHave\nExperience with Azure data services Azure SQL Synapse Data Factory\nExposure to Power BI deployment pipelines and CICD
