and release readiness in clear business termsOwn the accuracy and currency of the defect management process preferably using Jira including defect status severity priority and agingParticipate in defect triage and help ensure prioritization reflects both business risk and release impactMonitor testing against risk-based thresholds including RAG status for high and very high-risk scenarios and proactively flag emerging concernsSupport and explain the layered testing model covering unit regression Solution Integration Testing end-to-end testing and UATCoordinate quality tracking across specialized testing including accessibility WCAG AA browser compatibility usability performance security and disaster recovery testingVerify readiness for Solution Integration Testing SoIT and ensure defined entrance and exit criteria are satisfied\nManage quality gates across the release lifecycle and provide metrics defect status and risk assessments that inform release go no go decisions\nAssess quality risks affecting release scope and timelines including risks arising from the introduction of Conversion Validation Testing CVT data into release cycles\nContribute to testing strategy across environments test data planning identification of automation candidates and development of robust automated test suites\nWork collaboratively with Business Analysts Developers Technical Architects QA Analysts and Project Management to provide an accurate solution wide quality pictureExperience Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science IT Business Technology a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience7 years of software testing QA experience particularly in quality metrics reporting testing methodologies and defect managementWorkers Compensation or broader insurance domain experience is strongly preferredStrong knowledge of testing levels defect lifecycle management quality governance release readiness and risk-based testingExperience with Jira or comparable defect management platforms reporting dashboard experience is advantageousStrong client facing communication presentation and stakeholder management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and OutlookAI Automation ExpectationsPractical experience applying AI to testing and quality engineering is requiredRelevant applications includeAI assisted defect analysisPredictive
