agile delivery framework The role will motivate challenge and keep development teams motivated and focused while facilitating the collaborative delivery of working software This role involves working across multiple development teams to lead the continuous transformation of customers delivery models and establish consistent agile practices Key Accountabilities \nUpdate agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product Sprint Backlogs\nRecommend improvements and assist in changes to recommended practices \nAssist with internal and external communication for transparency of information \nOrganize and facilitate project planning daily standup meetings reviews retrospectives sprint and release planning and other Scrum related meetings \nAssist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition\nEnsuring disciplined software development approach continuous integration refactoring practices peer reviews continuous QA and sustainable pace as standard \nParticipate in the organization and planning of the development schedule based on methodology to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path task dependencies and major milestones and manages the agreed project plans and schedules ensuring successful completion within scope budget time and quality parameters\nAdapt project plans schedules and resource assignments as required to respond to emerging requirements and risks\nFully track project progress remove impediments identify risks and provide resolutions for project issuesÂ\nFacilitate low complexity Agile initiatives from initiation through release providing oversight to ensure alignment with internal AgileScrum practices including but not limited to project kickoff sprint release and deployment planning\nAccountable alongside the scrum team for the achievement of release objectives and results that meet LOB stakeholders needs and expectations\nManage risks to delivery \nTrack and report financials for the team \nAccountable for creating and maintaining the appropriate vehicles for open communication within the scrum team eg tracker boards to create a trusting and safe team environment \nCommunicate cross functionally ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes Report team progress and accomplishment up and across\nFacilitates status updates product demos and retrospectives Knowledge Experience 6 years experience as a Scrum Master\nBachelors degree or combination of relevant education and experience Industry Certified Scrum Master with project management and handson Scrum Master experience\nCertified Agile Practitioner or equivalent Thorough understanding of agile software development lifecycle methodologies values and procedures \nMultiple years experience working with an agile methodology during a large scale complex new development project for a large enterprise\nExperience in software development andor project management andor business system analysis or other relevant professional experience\nExposure to ProjectProgram delivery in Agile andor Waterfall environment\nPractical experience with any of the key disciplines required in agile delivery such as software development or business system analysis\nAbility to apply RBC Agile Management Framework and well documented Agile techniques User Stories Burndown techniques Acceptance Test Driven Development Continuous testing etc \nSAFe experience is an asset Skills Competencies\nAgile Leadership Assuming a leadership role in enabling an agile work environment \nBusiness Communication Professionally conveying and receiving information thoughts and emotions using a variety of mediums eg written verbal electronic Technical Capabilities Agile
