Senior Network Administrator

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator with strong expertise in both on-premise and cloud networking environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network security, Cisco technologies, firewalls, routing and switching, wireless networking, SDN, MPLS, and cloud infrastructure. The role requires a proactive professional who can design, implement, monitor, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security across business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and availability.
• Configure, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and intrusion detection systems.
• Design and manage load balancing solutions for optimal network traffic distribution.
• Configure and administer Cisco switches, routers, wireless access points, and controllers.
• Implement and support Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions.
• Manage MPLS network configurations and connectivity.
• Administer IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions.
• Utilize SolarWinds and other monitoring tools to identify and resolve network issues.
• Perform network upgrades, patching activities, and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and development teams to support business applications and deployments.
• Automate routine network administration tasks using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.
• Create and maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Mentor and support junior network engineers and administrators.

Requirements:

• Primary Skills: Cisco Firewall, Cisco FMC, Cisco FTD, Cisco ASA.
• Secondary Skills: Routing and Switching, Wireless Access Points, Network Security, Cloud Networking, Load Balancers.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in Network Administration.
• Strong expertise in network security technologies including Firewalls, VPNs, Proxies, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Experience managing enterprise networks in both on-premises and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing Protocols, and Network Security Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, wireless access points, and controllers.
• Good knowledge of SDN and MPLS technologies.
• Experience with IPAM solutions.
• Proficiency in SolarWinds network monitoring tools.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCNA Certification, CCNP Certification, and AWS Advanced Networking Certification.
• Experience in cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, and Prometheus.
• Experience with network automation platforms and tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and enterprise security frameworks.
