This role will support Agile delivery teams responsible for modernizing mission-critical healthcare systems and enterprise applications supporting Veteran healthcare services nationwide.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong Agile coaching, facilitation, and delivery management experience within complex federal IT or healthcare environments. This individual will work closely with product owners, developers, architects, business analysts, and government stakeholders to drive Agile best practices, improve team performance, and support successful delivery of modernization initiatives involving legacy and next-generation healthcare technologies.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nServe as Scrum Master for Agile teams supporting VA healthcare modernization initiatives.\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.\nGuide teams in the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and team collaboration.\nSupport modernization initiatives involving legacy VistA/MUMPS-based healthcare systems and enterprise applications.\nCollaborate with product owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize product backlogs and delivery objectives.\nIdentify, track, and help remove impediments impacting team performance and project delivery.\nMonitor team progress, sprint metrics, and delivery outcomes to support continuous improvement efforts.\nPromote transparency, accountability, and effective communication across technical and business teams.\nSupport coordination across cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, integration, and operations.\nAssist with release planning, dependency management, risk tracking, and stakeholder reporting activities.\nSupport Agile documentation and reporting activities utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.\nFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environment focused on delivering mission value and modernization success.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.\n5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development or IT modernization programs.\nStrong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.\nExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional technical teams.\nExperience supporting enterprise IT, software development, or healthcare modernization initiatives.\nStrong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience using Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and support delivery in fast-paced environments.\nNice to Have:\nExperience supporting VA healthcare systems including VistA, CPRS, or VA modernization initiatives.\nFamiliarity with MUMPS-based applications and healthcare legacy modernization programs.\nExperience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud modernization environments.\nAI exposure/experience\nExperience supporting large-scale federal government IT programs.\nSAFe, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or related Agile certifications preferred.\nExperience supporting distributed or remote Agile delivery teams preferred.\nWhy Join LTS?\nAt LTS, we support mission-driven programs that improve healthcare outcomes for Veterans nationwide.
