Qualified applicants may be contacted as opportunities arise.\nJob Summary\nLucayan Technology Solutions is seeking a highly capable Network Administrator to support the 6th Medical Group (6 MDG) at MacDill Air Force Base under a U.S. Air Force medical IT support contract. The Network Administrator will maintain, monitor, and secure enterprise network infrastructure to meet operational and security requirements. This includes managing routers, switches, and firewalls, implementing cybersecurity directives, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.\nConduct daily network health checks to verify system readiness and availability.\nMonitor network performance, conduct bandwidth analysis, and optimize resource usage.\nImplement DoD cybersecurity requirements (STIGs, ACAS scans, TCNOs) and maintain vulnerability compliance index (VCI) ≤ 3.\nControl user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity policy.\nTroubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues; escalate unresolved issues per established SLAs.\nTrack and resolve service tickets using DHA ServiceNow and AFNET Remedy systems.\nMaintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, SOPs, and security compliance reports.\nPerform firmware updates, patching, and configuration changes for network equipment.\nSupport disaster recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) testing.\nProvide support for system integration and testing of upgrades, ensuring Air Force and DHA compatibility.\nCoordinate with vendors and government stakeholders to resolve complex issues.\nComply with AFOSH (Air Force Occupational Safety and Health) standards and site-specific safety/security requirements.\nWork Environment & Access\nOn-site daily at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL 33621.\nMust comply with AFOSH (Air Force Occupational Safety and Health) regulations.\nMust be eligible for Common Access Card (CAC) and meet Air Force installation access requirements.\nAccess to controlled/restricted areas may be required based on mission scope.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship (required for CAC and installation access).\nActive Secret Clearance (must be maintained).\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience).\n3+ years of professional experience in network administration.\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP).\nExperience with Cisco/Juniper or equivalent enterprise network hardware.\nProficiency in firewall configuration and security hardening.\nFamiliarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and requirements (STIGs, ACAS, RMF).\nAbility to analyze system logs, troubleshoot network outages, and implement corrective actions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nRequired Certifications\nCompTIA Security+ (baseline DoD 8570 requirement).\nCompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA/CCNP.\nMicrosoft MCSA/MCSE.\nITIL v4 Foundation.\nNice to Have\nPrior
