Qualified applicants may be contacted as opportunities arise.\nJob Summary\nThe Cloud Developer will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based applications and infrastructure to support in Honoulu, Hawaii. This position ensures that cloud solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards in line with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity requirements. Candidates should have experience with cloud platforms, application development, and performance optimization in cloud environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud applications and services.\nDeploy and manage solutions across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment.\nApply cloud architecture best practices, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and serverless computing.\nImplement cloud security measures such as IAM (Identity & Access Management), encryption, and network protections.\nEnsure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, conduct assessments, and maintain documentation.\nMonitor cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and availability.\nCollaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud solutions into enterprise systems.\nProvide technical support and knowledge sharing to staff and faculty on cloud platforms.\nStay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and security standards.\nRequired Qualifications\nClearance: Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).\nCertifications (minimum one):\nCompTIA Security+ CE or higher DoD-approved cybersecurity certification.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect\nGoogle Professional Cloud Architect\nServiceNow CSA or CAD (if supporting ServiceNow cloud systems)\n\nExperience: 3+ years in cloud development, deployment, and infrastructure management.\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong knowledge of cloud computing principles, networking, and cybersecurity.\nExperience with automation tools, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code.\nProgramming proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in DoD or other federal IT environments.\nFamiliarity with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, or CMMC compliance frameworks.\nDemonstrated success optimizing cloud resources for cost efficiency.\nWork Environment & Conditions\nOn-site in Honolulu, HI.\nStandard hours: Monday -
