You will perform database administration activities, drive performance optimization and security compliance, collaborate with DBA staff, and ensure high availability of mission-critical data systems in a cloud-hosted environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform enterprise Oracle and SQL Server database administration in a federal IT environment\nArchitect, optimize, and maintain high-availability database configurations\nImplement database security controls, access management, and data integrity enforcement\nManage backup/recovery operations with quarterly validation testing\nExecute SQL tuning, data integration, and ETL/SSIS support activities\nDevelop and maintain contingency plans and business impact analyses for database systems\nSupport disaster recovery and continuity of operations exercises\nCollaborate with and support junior DBA staff\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship required\nSecurity Clearance: minimum T3 required\nBachelor's degree OR Oracle 19c/SQL Server certification OR 5+ years of DBA experience\nProven expertise in Oracle 19c+ and Microsoft SQL Server administration\nExperience with high-availability database configurations (clustering, mirroring, replication)\nStrong SQL tuning and performance optimization skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nOracle OCP/OCM or Microsoft SQL Server certification\nAzure Database Administrator
