Qualified applicants may be contacted as opportunities arise.\nJob Summary\nLucayan is seeking a skilled System Administrator in Honolulu. In this role, you will manage and maintain servers, storage, and user accounts, ensuring system availability, security, and compliance with DoD standards. This position is critical to maintaining 99.9% uptime for mission systems and supporting secure operations that enable the Center’s global mission.\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.\nManage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and access controls.\nMonitor system performance, apply patches, and maintain backups.\nEnforce DoD security standards and support cybersecurity compliance.\nRespond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions.\nGenerate reports on uptime, patch status, and account management.\nCollaborate with help desk, network, and cloud teams to support users and improve IT services.\nMinimum Qualifications\n3+ years of system administration experience (Windows Server, Active Directory, patching, backups).\nStrong troubleshooting and documentation skills.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.\nDoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).\nMicrosoft AZ-900 or MS-900 certification (or higher).\nCompletion of required DoD trainings (Cyber Awareness, AT Level I, OPSEC, SAPR, etc.).\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced Microsoft, VMware, or PowerShell certifications.\nExperience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and hybrid cloud services.\nWork Environment\nOn-site in Honolulu, HI.\nStandard duty hours:
