The quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for maintaining the quality in a high-mix, elevated boot and footwear factory. You will work closely with the production department to ensure compliance with industry standards. In addition, this position will support the Quality Assurance Manager in different processes aligned with Lucchese values, consistent policy administration, and a safe work environment.\nScope of Job\nThe Quality Assurance Inspector verifies the conformance of a variety of parts, products, and processes. Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality before reaching the customer. Demonstrated ability to use a computer and standard business software including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) along with the ability and willingness to learn additional software programs as required such as NetSuite.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nAll responsibilities mentioned below can be modified but not limited based on the company’s needs.\nConduct in-process/final inspections to ensure that all products meet our quality standards.\nConduct Incoming inspections for different products to ensure that all meet our quality standards, such as boots, belts, cloth and accessories, but not limited to the previously mentioned.\nPerform QC inspections to identify defects and ensure that all products meet our specifications.\nCollaborate with the production team to ensure that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.\nMaintain accurate records of all inspections and test results.\nLearn and support multiple quality workstations/process. \nAssist other working areas as necessary. \nGeneral Responsibilities\nMaintain clean and organized workstation.\nMeet departmental production targets and quality standards.\nSupport teamwork and assist other departments as needed.\nPerform additional duties assigned by the direct leader.\nSupport and comply with all company policies and safety procedures.\nQuality & Production Expectations\nMaintain consistent output aligned with departmental productivity standards.\nMinimize rework by adhering to process specifications and visual inspection standards.\nAccurately complete data entry in quality documentation.\nDemonstrate flexibility to rotate stations without compromising efficiency or quality.\nRequired Skills & Abilities\nMentoring: Ability to provide technical support to co-workers.\nTraining: Ability to support actual staff and new members, open to learn and perform cross training in different areas.\nCommunicating: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing and maintain confidentiality.\nLeadership: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\nQA and Reasoning Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects. Working knowledge and experience performing quality system and process audits. Ability to work in a fast-paced/stressed environment while maintaining safety and quality priorities.
