Essential Functions\nThe Care Access Coordinator Autism Resource Program (ARP) is a non-clinical support role that ensures efficient access to behavioral health services by combining administrative accuracy, responsive customer support, and effective coordination between members, providers, and clinical teams.\nAdministrative & Operational Support\nProcess authorizations, enter and audit data, and manage documentation across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and workflow efficiency.\n\nSupport clinical operations through correspondence (letters, faxes) and by maintaining timely, compliant records aligned with productivity standards.\n\nMember & Provider Assistance\nServe as a frontline resource by answering benefit, authorization, and referral questions while verifying member information in compliance with HIPAA.\n\nDeliver high-quality service through empathetic communication, basic screening, and escalation of high-risk or crisis situations to clinical staff.\n\nCare Coordination & Case Management SupportTriage cases and route them appropriately to clinical teams, ensuring accurate and timely information flow for care decisions.\n\nCollect and share key data (e.g., discharge details, provider updates) to support continuity of care and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nWho You Are\nRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related healthcare field PLUS 1+ year experience in a health care, managed care, behavioral health, and/or customer service setting OR\nHigh school diploma PLUS 3+ years’ experience in a health care, managed care, behavioral health, and/or customer service setting\nStrong computer proficiency, including the ability to work within multiple systems simultaneously and accurately enter or retrieve data.\nAbility to talk and type simultaneously while navigating systems during live member interactions.\nAbility to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.\n\nPreferred QualificationsExperience in autism services.\n\nLiving our Values:\nServing everyone with compassion and leading with empathy.\nStepping up and creating value by taking charge and acting when there is an opportunity.\nAdapting in a changing world by recognizing our responsibility to be agile and respond quickly.\nNurturing growth and belonging by respecting and celebrating everyone for who they are.\n\nCompetencies\nSelf-motivated and the ability to assume a collaborative role in ensuring that all objectives are met\nAbility to work independently to meet team objectives/goals\nProfessional demeanor in response to all situations regardless of the nature or circumstances of the situation\nAble to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment\nAbility to work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment\n\nWorking Conditions:\nHigh-speed internet service (cable or fiber optic) with minimum download Speed of 20 Mbps, Upload Speed of 5 Mbps, and Maximum Latency of 100 milliseconds (must be installed before starting) required.\nFrequent use of computer and phone systems\nMust be able to constantly remain in a stationary, sitting position, communicate and exchange information with others, inspect information, perform repetitive motions with arms and fingers, interpret data, problem solve, make decisions, organize and plan, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in all situations.\nWork is performed from home with company-provided equipment.
