By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.\nPosition Overview\nThe Associate Material Planner supports material flow and warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate movement of material from receiving and storage to line-side delivery. The role supports inventory accuracy, material availability, system transactions, storage optimization, and adherence to defined logistics processes. The position works with Production, Quality, Procurement, Planning, suppliers, and warehouse teams to address day-to-day material flow issues and support continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport daily material flow activities across receiving, storage, inventory control, and line-side material delivery.\nMonitor material availability and coordinate actions to support production requirements.\nSupport storage methods for sheet metal, stamped components, and critical parts in line with defined warehouse standards.\nApply FIFO, zoning, slotting, and other lean logistics practices to support efficient material flow and space utilization.\nSupport inbound receiving activities, including unloading coordination, inspection, goods receipt, and GRN processing.\nCoordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support JIT deliveries aligned with production schedules.\nMaintain accurate inventory transactions and records in SAP/WMS and support reconciliation of inventory variances.\nSupport inventory audits and corrective actions to improve data accuracy and reduce transaction or booking gaps.\nSupport incoming quality verification, rejection handling, segregation of non-conforming materials, and disposal activities according to defined processes.\nMonitor and report operational KPIs including put-away accuracy, inventory accuracy, GRN turnaround time, and storage utilization.\nIdentify material flow and warehouse process gaps and support continuous-improvement actions.\nFollow applicable SOPs, safety requirements, system controls, and audit requirements.\nCollaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Planning, suppliers, and warehouse stakeholders to resolve operational material flow issues.\nSkills\nWorking knowledge of material flow, warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and inventory control.\nKnowledge of storage and material-handling requirements for automotive components, including sheet metal, stamped parts, and critical items.\nWorking knowledge of SAP/WMS transactions and inventory-control processes.\nUnderstanding of lean logistics principles such as FIFO, JIT, Kanban, zoning, and slotting.\nAbility to monitor operational KPIs, analyze routine issues, and support structured problem solving.\nGood coordination and communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nAbility to follow defined procedures, maintain accurate records, and support audit and compliance requirements.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related\nfield.\n1-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, material flow, warehouse operations,\nor inventory control.\nAutomotive OEM or manufacturing logistics experience is preferred.\nExposure to inventory accuracy programs, warehouse audits, SAP/WMS, or material-flow\nprocesses is preferred.\nCompensation& Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
