By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a Perception Software Engineer to design, integrate, and deploy ML-\nbased perception software within our ADAS stack. This engineer will collaborate with ML\nengineers, embedded software developers, and systems teams to deliver production-\nready solutions across Lucid’s vehicle platforms.\nResponsibilities\nResearch, develop, and integrate bird’s-eye-view (BEV) transformer models for\nperception tasks.\nResearch and develop state-of-the-art machine-learning-based prediction\nsolutions for production perception systems.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.\nDeploy and optimize ML models on embedded platforms.\nWrite production-grade C++ code aligned with MISRA/AUTOSAR standards.\nDevelop and maintain diagnostic pipelines for perception modules.\nDebug and resolve static analysis violations and performance bottlenecks.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across ML, perception, systems, and\nsafety.\nQualifications\nStrong foundation in software integration, operating systems used in embedded\nenvironments, including QNX and Ubuntu, and embedded software development.\nStrong theoretical foundation and practical expertise in deep-learning algorithms\nfor dynamic and static object detection, tracking, and segmentation.\nExperience contributing to large, complex production codebases in a collaborative\ndevelopment environment.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a\nrelated field.\nMinimum of three years of relevant work experience. Candidates considered for a\nsenior-level position should have additional relevant industry experience or a Ph.D.\nin a related field.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, or a related field.\nDeep understanding of deep learning deployment pipelines and GPU inference.\nExperience developing BEV transformer models for perception.\nHands-on experience with embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Drive Orin/Xavier.\nProficiency in Bash scripting for automation and debugging.\nStrong familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.\nAt Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it! Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
