Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nReview electrical and mechanical schematics, create test cell layouts for instrumentation, low voltage, and high voltage circuitry.\nConduct verification and validation tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry and requirements.\nDesign and set up test benches including jigs and fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for performance evaluation.\nStrong hands-on and trouble-shooting skills in testing, verifications and validation of power electronics systems, including the use of lab equipment (battery simulators, power supplies, E-loads, scopes, etc.).\nCapability to analyze root-cause of the power electronics system and drive R&D activities independently.\nStrong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.\n Qualifications \nBachelors, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing preferred.\nSolid understanding of power electronics fundamentals.\nGood hands-on experience for hardware test and validation.\nFamiliar with various equipment (force gauge, thermocouples, power supplies, multimeter, hi-pot tester, etc.)\nKnowledge of automotive and industrial environmental reliability requirements (GMW, ISO, IEC standards).\nAt Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it! Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program.
