By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.\nPosition Overview \nThe Senior Systems Engineer leads end-of-line and in-process test capability for high-voltage battery packs at AMP-2 in KSA.This hands-on role owns test-process definition, launch support, issue investigation, and continuous improvement across production. The engineer will partner with local manufacturing, process, and quality teams and collaborate closely with US-based battery design, systems, software, and quality organizations to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality battery production. \nKey Responsibilities \nLead the definition, implementation, and debugging of end-of-line test processes for high-voltage battery packs at AMP-2 \nPerform battery design and process failure mode analysis to continuously improve the test process and capture newly identified failure modes \nPerform integration validation and testing for updated hardware and software revisions to ensure product quality \nWork closely with manufacturing, process, and quality teams to ensure engineering requirements are properly met \nLead root-cause analysis using fishbone and 8D, driving issues to closure and preventing production interruptions \nPerform fleet data analysis to continuously improve end-of-line tests detection and minimize field failures \nProvide timelyfeedback to the US engineering team on project progress, risks, and technical challenges \nDevelop on-site diagnostic and analysis capability in KSA to enable advanced investigations and root-cause analysis \nDevelop analytics dashboards in collaboration with the data science teams and enable reliable tracking of quality indicators such as FPY and failure causes \nSkills \nHands-on experience working on high-voltage systems and deep understanding of the principles of high-voltage safety \nExperience working in prototype and mass manufacturing environments supporting creation and implementation of test specifications for end-of-line testing \nDeep understanding of battery quality KPIs such as capacity, DCIR, and contact resistances \nProficiencywith large-scale data analysis tools like Python, SQL, or MATLAB and CAN data analysis tools such as CANalyzer/CANape \nStrong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as fishbone and 8D \nStrong understanding of battery architecture and components such as contactors, HV chain, BMS fundamentals, and power electronics \nExcellent technical English is a must, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and precisely \nWillingness to travel to Lucid HQ in California as needed \nMinimum Qualifications \nBachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related technical field \n5+ years’ experience in the field of high voltage battery systems, BMS, power electronics, or similar automotive engineering roles \nCompensation& Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
