We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Controls Software to lead the development and delivery of vehicle controls software across current and future Lucid platforms. \nThis role will drive cross-functional execution across Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, ECU Owners, Software Platform teams, Validation, Manufacturing, Vehicle Integration, and suppliers to ensure successful delivery from concept through production launch and series support. \nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen in automotive embedded software and systems with exceptional program leadership, risk management, and execution skills \nRole:\nLead end-to-end delivery of controls software features and functions across multiple vehicle programs. \nDrive program planning, execution, and launch readiness from requirements definition through production support. \nManage technical risks, dependencies, issue resolution, and critical path activities across cross-functional teams. \nPartner with Controls Engineers, Systems Engineers, ECU Owners, Vehicle Feature Owners, and suppliers to ensure successful integration and delivery. \nCoordinate software development, integration, release planning, validation, and deployment activities. \nDrive vehicle-level system integration, interface management, and feature readiness reviews. \nSupport software architecture discussions and technical tradeoff decisions to enable scalable and maintainable solutions. \nCoordinate verification and validation activities, defect resolution, and readiness assessments. \nSupport manufacturing and end-of-line (EOL) software readiness, vehicle bring-up and launch activities. \nDrive continuous improvement of systems engineering, software development, and program management processes. \nCommunicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and executive stakeholders. \nQualifications:\n8+ years of experience in automotive software, embedded systems, systems engineering, product development, or technical program management. \n5+ years leading complex cross-functional software and hardware development programs. \nProven track record delivering automotive embedded software systems from concept through production. \nStrong understanding of automotive software development, system integration, and product development lifecycles. \nExperience driving execution across organizations without direct authority. \nExperience in managing technical risks, schedules, dependencies, and supplier deliverables. \nExperience with Agile development methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. \nPreferred:\nAutomotive embedded software development experience. \nExperience with Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures and vehicle software platforms. \nExperience with vehicle-level software integration and release management. \nExperience with Jama, 3DX, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools. \nExperience managing Tier-1 supplier software development and integration. \nWorking knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety. \nExperience working within ASPICE-compliant development processes. \nEducation \nBS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. \nMS preferred. \nPMP, ASPICE, or ISO 26262 certifications are a plus. \nAt Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
