Reporting directly to Lead Cloud Architect, this role plays a key part in the execution of cloud strategies, technical implementations, and operational excellence initiatives. global users.\nImplementation and support of public cloud and private cloud environments.\nContribution to disaster recovery, performance optimisation, and capacity planning.\nCollaboration with network, security, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions.\nKey Accountabilities\nDeploy, configure, and maintain cloud services and infrastructure components in our public and private cloud environments.\nMonitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and security compliance.\nImplement governance-aligned configurations and policies in line with architectural guidance.\nTroubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, escalating as necessary.\nContribute to automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting.\nSupport backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.\nWork with vendors and service providers to resolve incidents and implement improvements.\nMaintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes.\nParticipate in project delivery, providing technical input and operational handover.\nStay current with cloud technology trends and recommend improvements where appropriate.\nExpand automation for cloud deployments to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nIntroduce cloud-native monitoring tools to enhance observability and proactive issue detection.\nGain cross-training in DevOps practices to improve collaboration with development teams.\nQualifications, Experience & Skills\nDegree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.\n3+ years in a cloud engineering or infrastructure operations role.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Nutanix.\nKnowledge of virtualisation, networking, and storage technologies in cloud and hybrid contexts.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.\nFamiliarity with cloud governance, compliance, and cost optimisation practices.\nITIL Foundation or equivalent service management experience.\nRelevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are technologies such as Azure, M365, Intune, SharePoint \nMonitoring and support of the IT infrastructure to achieve maximum availability, performance, and value.\nLiaising with 3rd party suppliers and technology partners\nPerformance management of core infrastructure and cloud technologies \nProvide escalation for staff within the Infrastructure, Desktop, and IT Service Desk teams\nWork with other team members to continually improve all aspects of IT services that deliver value and enhanced the end-user experience.\n Qualifications, Experience & Skills\n3+ years hands-on technical experience in Infrastructure Operations\nITIL3/ITIL4 Certification, or 2+ years’ equivalent experience in an IT Service Management\nHands-on experience with Active Directory, Windows 10+, M365, Azure AD, SCCM, In-Tune, PowerShell, and end point security tools.\nBYOD/MDM Design, Deployment and Administration \nAbility to plan and prioritize workload for self and others with minimal supervision\nUnderstand
