The role manages BOMs, routings, forecasting, capacity planning, engineering change implementation, costing activities, production scheduling, and project planning in D365 while collaborating closely with Engineering, SCM, Production, Projects, and Quality teams to support seamless execution and business objectives.\nKey Accountabilities;\nBOM Management & Product Data Management\nCreate, structure, and maintain multi-level Bills of Materials (BOM) for parts, sub-assemblies, and finished goods in D365.\nDefine manufacturing and processing methods for new products.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Projects, SCM, Production, and Quality teams for BOM validation.\nCreate and update part master data and new part lists.\nDefine manufacturing checkpoints and control points.\nEnsure BOM accuracy and timely updates for engineering and production requirements.\nEngineering Change Management (ECN)\nReview Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) and assess planning impacts.\nMaintain ECN implementation tracker.\nCoordinate with SCM, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for change implementation.\nConduct review meetings and monitor effective implementation.\nCommunicate and circulate approved changes across relevant functions.\nTrack closure of engineering changes to ensure compliance and traceability.\nDemand Planning & Forecast Management\nCreate and maintain demand forecast lines in D365.\nCollaborate with Sales, Projects, SCM, and Production teams for forecast alignment.\nMonitor forecast accuracy and communicate planning updates to stakeholders.\nSupport Make-or-Buy decisions for planning items.\nCreate and maintain BOMs and planning parameters in ERP.\nCapacity Planning & Manpower Planning\nPerform manpower calculations based on production requirements.\nEnsure manufacturing routes are created and maintained for all planned products.\nDownload, analyze, and consolidate BOM data for capacity planning.\nGenerate planning reports, productivity analysis, and resource utilization dashboards.\nDevelop simplified planning models to improve efficiency and accuracy.\nCost Activation & Costing Support\nVerify BOMs, routing structures, consumable kits, and technical specifications before cost activation.\nSupport standard cost estimation and cost analysis activities.\nPerform cost activation in D365 for manufactured and purchased items.\nCoordinate with Purchase, Engineering, Finance, and Production teams for accurate costing.\nSupport periodic cost roll-up exercises and costing validations.\nProduction Planning & Scheduling\nExecute order firming activities in ERP.\nPrepare Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs.\nDevelop weekly production schedules and monthly manufacturing plans.\nPerform product-line-wise capacity planning.\nBalance customer demand with manufacturing capability.\nRelease monthly production plans and monitor adherence.\nProject Planning & Execution Support\nPlan project-wise, finished goods requirements in coordination with Engineering and Project Management teams.\nMonitor project schedules and material readiness.\nSupport execution teams with timely project deliveries.\nCoordinate manufacturing priorities based on project milestones.\nOrder Milestone Tracking\nTrack order progresses from planning through dispatch.\nMonitor critical milestones and identify potential delays.\nEnsure timely follow-up with stakeholders for issue resolution.\nMaintain accurate order tracking records and achieve delivery commitments.\nBudgeting & Annual Planning Support\nSupport yearly budgeting exercises through BOM verification and costing data preparation.\nCreate costing BOMs and routes for budget forecasting.\nPerform annual cost activation activities.\nProvide planning inputs for business projections and operational budgets.\nYear-End Planning Activities\nReview and validate all production BOMs and routings.\nEnsure implementation of required engineering and costing updates.\nConduct annual BOM roll-up and verification.\nExecute year-end standard cost activation and system updates.\nProduction Coordination & Operational Control\nConduct daily synchronization meetings with feeder manufacturing and final assembly teams.\nCoordinate material availability and production priorities with CFT members.\nResolve planning and execution-related issues on a real-time basis.\nSupport smooth production flow and operational efficiency.\nMIS & Performance Reporting\nGenerate Weekly and Monthly MIS reports.\nTrack production performance, delivery adherence, capacity utilization, and forecast accuracy.\nDevelop dashboards and planning reports for management review.\nProvide analytical inputs to improve operational performance.\nSpares Planning & Tracking\nPlan and track Customer, Service, and Intercompany spare orders.\nEnsure timely availability and dispatch of spares.\nCoordinate with SCM, Service, Projects, and Production teams for fulfillment\nMonitor spares performance and service-level achievement.\nQualifications, Experience & Skills\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production
