They will be responsible for assisting the members with obtaining critical medications that they may have normally had trouble obtaining. They will act as the members personal advocate and will guide them through the complex world of prescriptions to help them obtain your medications in a cost-effective manner. They will be exploring the possibility of obtaining patient assistance and be the critical link between the members, the doctors, and the pharmaceutical companies.Role and Responsibilities\nSupport the Prescription Optimization Program\nWork with clients and members to allow them to utilize all the benefits of the Prescription Optimization Program\nProvide appropriate triage and care coordination to clients, members, providers, and pharmacies\nCollaboration with all internal and external teams to support the POP program\nTake inbound calls to members, providers, and pharmacies\nManage and process incoming and outgoing forms, information, and data to provide patient assistance to the members\nManage every call by accurately resolving the issue, demonstrating compassion, meeting compliance requirements, and ensuring a hassle-free experience for our members\nHave a patient centric mindset and a high sense of urgency\nImpeccable documentation and follow up skills\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nActive Pharmacy Technician license in good standing from any U.S. state\nCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; if not currently certified, must have the willingness and ability to obtain CPhT certification within 6 months of hire\nSelf-starter with a strong attention to detail.\nSolid time management and follow through.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nIntermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Salesforce\nAbility to communicate clearly, present complex information to members, clients, pharmacies, and providers\nAbility to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently, define problems as they arise, and work through them.\nDemonstrate problem-solving skills, information gathering, research, alternatives analysis, applying creative solutions to unique and/or immediate issues.\nPreferences\nExperience 1+ years in Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.\nExperience in member support role.\nExperience 1+ years of customer service experience and solving customer problems\nExperience in call center-handling inbound calls and making outbound calls.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. Regularly operates in an office setting which involves utilizing a computer, mouse, keyboard, and occasionally operates other standard office equipment such as a printer, copier, and phone.
