The Director, Supply Chain Environment will be based in our APAC region and be responsible for driving achievement of our Impact Agenda by leading the company’s environmental sustainability strategy and execution across lululemon’s manufacturing supply chain. This role will lead lululemon’s supply chain programs for climate, waste management, and water stewardship across our network of finished goods suppliers and mills. The candidate will drive measurable environmental performance improvements, support environmental compliance, and partner with suppliers, industry organizations, and NGOs. This role requires deep internal partnership with sustainability, sourcing, production, legal, and product quality.\ncore responsibilities\nLead lululemon’s environmental sustainability strategy across manufacturing partners throughout Asias\nLead implementation of supply chain decarbonization programs to support Scope 3 emissions reduction goals\nCreate and execute vendor thermal decarbonization roadmap in service to 2030 and 2050 Science-Based targets\nLead regional water stewardship initiatives focused on high risk manufacturing locations\nEstablish performance expectations and consistently measure progress against those expectations\nPartner with industry stakeholders to define multi-brand solutions to industry problems\nRepresent in regional industry collaborations including aii, ACEC, and Cascale\nServe as the senior regional environmental expert integrating environmental sustainability into sourcing and production teams\nLead a team of 8-10 environmental and supply chain experts\nqualifications\n15 years experience working in apparel or footwear supply chains\n10 years experience implementing environmental or product sustainability programs related to climate and/or water\nDirect experience working with suppliers on environmental programs, preferably apparel or footwear\nProven ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment with a passion for cross-functional engagement, enrollment and alignment\nClear communication skills and ability to build relationships with external groups in the supply chain and across the industry\n5 years experience building and managing a team\nDemonstrated capacity to manage ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, work in a high pressure environment, and manage high profile projects \nHighly strategic thinker with a bias for action\nStrong ability to engage and partner with a variety of stakeholders\nStrong executive presence and ability to simplify complexity into clear, crisp messages and takeaways\nmust haves\nAcknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.\nPossesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results. \nCommunicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same. \nLeads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure. \nFosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. \nIntegrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously. \nadditional notes\nImmigration support is potentially available for this role.\n\nbeyond the paycheck (benefits & perks)\nAt lululemon, we care for and invest in the whole person - body, mind, spirit.
