This team is responsible for the overall Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control of our North America Distribution Centers. At lululemon, a Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role by maintaining the physical integrity of the property including maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment for all guests and staff.\nA DAY IN THE LIFE\nUnder the leadership of the Facilities Supervisor and Facilities Manager, a Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the entire retail distribution facility and the surrounding property. This includes the MHE, physical grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency care of the space. They will work with the Facilities Supervisor on all scheduled preventative maintenance & reactive maintenance. In addition to supporting the facility, they will also engage in additional training, team building and personal development.\nUtilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.\nConduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.\nTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems. \nDiagnose, using test equipment, electrical and electronic control systems and other related equipment, devices, or components.\nAssemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.\nDaily inspection of building perimeter, including general repairs.\nInform appropriate DC partners on important communication.\nQUALIFICATIONS\n2-3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, & MHE maintenance\n1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles\nAbility to, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.\nBasic understanding of schematics, plans and blueprints.\nKnowledge of lock out tag out procedures.\nProficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills\nAbility to meet attendance requirements.\nAbility to lift up to 50lbs frequently.\nAbility to maintain a safe work environment.\nFlexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.\nMust be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.
