We stand for high-quality work, high-quality results, and living a high-quality life.\ncore responsibilities\nLead the Canada payroll function, providing clear direction, capability development, and performance management of the Payroll Specialists to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.\nMonitor compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and legislative requirements across payroll cycles.\nOversee and support end-to-end payroll processing activities to ensure payroll is completed accurately and on schedule.\nEnsure payroll previews are thoroughly reviewed and all identified errors are corrected before processing.\nAct as the primary point of escalation for payroll-related inquiries, providing guidance, coaching, and subject matter expertise to the team\nReview and reconcile payroll balances on processing days, investigating and resolving discrepancies prior to payroll submission.\nReview bonus , stock option/RSU, one-time payment and expense reimbursement files to confirm successful loading, balancing, and processing.\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders (People & Culture, Finance Systems, and business leaders) to resolve payroll issues and improve the employee experience.\nSupport in internal and external adhoc requests/reporting\nqualifications\nProven 2- 3 years people leadership experience, with demonstrated capability in leading, developing, and performance-managing payroll teams within a complex environment.\nCanada payroll knowledge and legislative requirements.\nHands-on experience working with enterprise payroll, HR, finance, and time & attendance systems (preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, ServiceNow)\nPayroll experience within a retail environment \nmust haves\nAcknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.\nPossess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results. \nCommunicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same. \nLead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure. \nFoster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. \nIntegrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriously. \nadditional notes\nAuthorization to work in Canada is required for this role.\ncompensation and benefits package\nlululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $95,400 - 125,200 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
