You demonstrate advanced technical acumen, with deep understanding of solution design and system architecture across multiple components and services, allowing you to anticipate architectural impacts, guide technical trade-offs, and drive informed program decisions. stakeholder partnership.\ncore responsibilities\nLead complex, cross-functional technical programs across Commerce & Transactions platforms, establishing measurable outcomes for delivery, scalability, reliability, security, performance, operational readiness, and business value.\nPartner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to define program strategy, scope, delivery plans, and execution approaches for large-scale initiatives.\nDevelop and manage integrated program plans across multiple engineering teams, platforms, and services, ensuring alignment on milestones, dependencies, and business objectives.\nDrive delivery execution through effective technical governance, clear accountability, architecture and security reviews, decision and escalation frameworks, quality gates, and proactive issue resolution.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, architectural dependencies, platform constraints, technical debt, reliability and resilience gaps, security concerns, and scalability limitations to ensure predictable program outcomes.\nTranslate complex technical concepts, trade-offs, and constraints into clear business impacts, enabling informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.\nFacilitate alignment across architects, engineers, product leaders, and executive stakeholders to drive clarity, prioritization, and successful program delivery.\nPartner closely with engineering and architecture leaders to validate technical approaches, challenge assumptions, and ensure strategic enabling work is appropriately prioritized.\nLead multi-system integration efforts by coordinating API and data-contract alignment, end-to-end testing, performance and security validation, deployment and rollback readiness, production observability, operational handoffs, and post-launch stabilization.\nDrive resolution of cross-team dependencies, competing priorities, and delivery conflicts while balancing business objectives, technical quality, and organizational constraints.\nProvide clear, concise, and technically grounded updates to senior leadership, communicating program health, delivery and reliability metrics, risks, key decisions, architectural trade-offs, and business impacts.\nInfluence investment decisions related to platforms, tooling, infrastructure, and technical modernization initiatives that support long-term business growth and operational excellence.\nChampion continuous improvement in technical program management practices, governance, planning, and execution across the organization.\nqualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n10+ years of experience leading complex technical programs within retail, eCommerce, digital, or technology-driven organizations.\n12+ years of experience in technical delivery, software engineering, technical program management, or related technology leadership roles.\nProven track record delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Data, and Operations teams.\nExperience leading technical initiatives across commerce platforms, including Checkout, Payments, Order Management, Fulfillment, Post-Purchase Experiences, Returns, Shipping, and Next Generation Commerce capabilities, with an understanding of order and payment integrations, data flows, API contracts, event-driven integrations, and end-to-end transaction lifecycle management.\nStrong technical acumen with a solid understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, integrations, distributed systems, platform architectures, system reliability, observability, performance engineering, scalability, and application security.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex dependencies, technical risk, organizational alignment, and large-scale program execution.\nExceptional communication, executive stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the ability to drive alignment across technical and business teams.\nExperience establishing governance models, operating rhythms, escalation frameworks, and delivery mechanisms for complex programs.\nTechnical program management experience across modern application and platform technologies, including Java-based services, GraphQL, Node.js, React, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Kafka or comparable event-streaming technologies, and GitLab or comparable CI/CD tooling, with a strong understanding of DevSecOps, automated testing, deployment strategies, and engineering excellence practices.\nStrong experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and related planning platforms.\nExperience leading platform modernization, cloud transformation, and highly distributed enterprise technology programs, including infrastructure as code, resilience and disaster-recovery planning, production observability, performance optimization, secure delivery practices, and operational readiness.\nExperience within retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, supply chain, or digital commerce organizations.\nKnowledge of commerce ecosystems including checkout, payments, post-purchase journeys, order orchestration, fulfillment, returns, and customer experience platforms.\nExperience supporting global technology organizations and large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.\nPMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent package\nlululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $147,300 - $193,300 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
