The team’s scope includes Energy Efficiency, Demand Response, Electric Vehicles, Puerto Rico’s Cost Effectiveness Test, Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Wheeling Implementation, and the System Remediation Plan.This position supports the team by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform regulatory strategy and compliance. It monitors regulatory changes, prepares reports and filings, and collaborates across teams and with external partners to meet evolving requirements.\nJob Description:\nDrafts regulatory filings, communications, deposition papers, and requests for information by conducting initial analysis and aligning with prior submissions, ensuring consistency and legal compliance.\n\nManages internal reporting by gathering departmental input, maintaining a reporting schedule, and communicating deadlines to ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions.\n\nAnalyzes legal and regulatory developments to assess potential business impacts and provide guidance on emerging risks and compliance strategies.\n\nMonitors and analyzes key performance metrics to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and support data-driven decision-making.\n\nProvides analytical insights to support cross-functional collaboration, strategic initiatives, operational planning, and reporting.\n\nCommunicates regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and maintain accountability for timely completion and deliverables.\n\nFollow established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.\n\nParticipates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.\n\nPerforms additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.\n\nAdditional Job Description:\nEducation:\nBachelor's Degree preferable in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field, from an accredited university\n\nExperience:\n3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and synthesizing complex economic, regulatory, and financial information, preferably within an electric utility or a related industry.\n\nAdditional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role: Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Analyst role.\n\nCompetencies (Skills):\nStrong skills in planning, managing, and prioritizing.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to synthesize and clearly convey complex information.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams and work groups across the organization and external stakeholders.\n\nStrong skills in the use of computer applications (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and programs such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization software, and SharePoint.\n\nExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and presentation skills.\n\nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously.\n\nAbility to exercise discretion with external and internal communications.\n\nLicenses/Certifications:\nValid Driver’s License\n\nTravel Requirements:\n30% approximately\n\nPhysical Demands:\nStationary Position: Constantly\n\nPushing/Pulling/Reaching: Seldom\n\nKneel: Seldom\n\nGrab: Seldom\n\nBend: Seldom\n\nLift/carry over: 5 - 10 lbs approximately\n\nVision: 20/20 Corrected Vision\n\nHearing: Receive detailed information if spoken to\n\nWorking Conditions\nWet or Humid: Never\n\nWorking near or on moving mechanical parts: Never\n\nWorking near or on heavy machinery: Never\n\nWorking in high places: Never\n\nExposed to fumes or airborne particles: Never\n\nFrequency of working in outdoor weather conditions:Never\n\nWork with Electricity: Never\n\nLoud noise conditions: Never\n\nLUMA Energy is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
