Responsible for supporting the building operator with the maintenance of parking areas, landscaped areas, and other associated equipment and facility systems. This position will support tenant services, capital, leasing functions, and activities when needed.Job Description:\nAssists the day-to-day execution of operations and maintenance schedules to ensure uninterrupted tenant operations and asset integrity is maintained.\n\nAssists and supports the facilities group with inspections, audits, maintenance, and repairs to air movement and heating systems, including air conditioners, boilers, radiators, pumps, exhaust fans, overhead heating systems, and fire suppression systems.\n\nProvides support for the repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures, pipes, motors, and pumps, as needed.\n\nAssists when all electric motor and compressor belts are to be checked and replaced, makes sure backup equipment is operational.\n\nReplaces luminaires.\n\nProvides support with general building maintenance and preventative maintenance as needed. Maintains daily equipment and meter reading records when needed. Monitors the Building Management System within defined areas.\n\nConducts detailed inspections to ensure that scheduled and periodic maintenance of the building, equipment, and external areas has been completed as instructed.\n\nComplies with OH&S provincial safety policies/procedures and operate equipment, systems, and tools safely and efficiently at all times.\n\nAssists with coordinating renovations, repairs, cleaning, and other services with contractors as needed. Ensures contractors are adhering to company safety policies and procedures and acting as on-site oversight. Provides assistance with safety orientations with contractors. Addresses contractor concerns when requested by the supervisor.\n\nProvides assistance and support with the coordination of general maintenance of parking lots and grounds, including maintenance and repair of underground sprinklers,\n\nSupports with general cleaning activities including pressure washing, cleaning services in bathrooms, floors, showers, faucets, kitchen areas, common areas, debris cleanup after completed activities, and cleaning electrical, janitorial, and generator rooms as needed.\n\nEmpties environmental bins, trash cans, trash pickup, and debris removal from sidewalks and parking area and deliver the trash can to designated bins when requested.\n\nKeeps an inventory, replaces consumables and cleaning materials in bathrooms, kitchens, and cleaning rooms when requested.\n\nPrepares paint surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint when requested.\n\nPaints indoor and outdoor facilities, including curbs, parking lines, fire control pipes, handicapped spaces, and other designated areas when necessary.\n\nCleans tools, paint supplies, equipment, materials, and work areas after completion of designated projects.\n\nCoordinates and communicate with the occupants of the building affected by the work to be carried out.\n\nInspects new facilities and renovations to ensure compliance with scope of work and all applicable regulations as requested.\n\nVerifies completion of work to ensure compliance with scope of work and all applicable regulations.\n\nCleans up any debris, spills, or messes after completing all activities.\n\nResponds to service and maintenance requests on demand; records the data and ensure that the completed work meets the quality and response requirements.\n\nResponds to maintenance/service requests in a courteous and timely manner.\n\nIdentifies problems and delivers service within defined timeframes.\n\nProvides information to close the service request and record comments for future reference.\n\nUses the work order request system for tracking and closing requests.\n\nHelps with security issues\n\nHelps with first aid kits, fire extinguisher, and AED inspection when directed.\n\nAssists with the preparation of fire drills related to building systems\n\nPerforms major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned.\n\nPerforms other tasks as assigned.\n\nFollows all policies and procedures.\n\nAdditional Job Description:\nThis person must be open to meet the demands of other regions depending on the needs of the operation.\nEducation and experience required\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\n1-3 years of experience in progressive installations\n\nPreferred Education and Experience\nCertified or able to become a scissor lift operator.\n\nRequired Licenses/Certifications\nYou must submit a Driver Registration Certification.
