Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll be responsible for ensuring employees have the devices, tools, access, and IT support they need to do their best work.\nYou’ll support employees across our offices, manage company devices and core IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve the processes we use to provision and manage our IT environment. You’ll also work closely with Engineering and other teams on networking, infrastructure, security, and compliance needs as they arise.\nThis is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping teammates, and making systems work better. You’ll balance responsive day-to-day support with longer term projects to automate manual work, improve reliability, and scale our IT operations as the company grows.\nWhat you'll do:\nProvide day-to-day IT support for employees across all Lumafield offices, troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and workplace technology issues for both technical and non-technical users.\nManage the complete lifecycle of company devices, including procurement, provisioning, MDM enrollment, software deployment, inventory management, lifecycle replacement, and secure retirement.\nAdminister core IT and business systems including Google Workspace, Rippling, MDM platforms, and other SaaS applications.\nManage user identities, access requests, permissions, and lifecycle processes to ensure employees have secure, appropriate access to the tools they need.\nHelp maintain endpoint security, patch management, and security tooling, including platforms such as SentinelOne and Vanta.\nSupport compliance initiatives across frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ITAR by implementing technical controls, maintaining documentation, and collecting audit evidence.\nWork across the full lifecycle of an enterprise server rack, from network management and switch configuration to building and deploying physical servers\nConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot AV and conference room tech, including Neat devices and other presentation equipment.\nContinuously improve IT systems and processes by identifying opportunities to automate manual work, improve reliability, and enhance the employee experience.\nAbout you:\n1-3 years of experience in IT systems administration, endpoint management, or IT support\nExperience supporting macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.\nExperience administering enterprise SaaS platforms and endpoint management solutions.\nWorking knowledge of identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management.\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, networking (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless APs), authentication, and SaaS applications.\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical employees.\nBonus:\nExperience with MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, Iru, or similar tools.\nFamiliarity with Rippling, Vanta, SentinelOne, or similar IT and security platforms.\nExperience with Docker, GitHub, OPNsense, UniFi, or Tailscale\nExperience supporting Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Neat, and other workplace collaboration tools.\nExperience supporting security or compliance programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ITAR, or CMMC.\nFamiliarity with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.\nA portfolio, blog, GitHub repo, or other work samples we can review","description_format":"text","description_chars":3644,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":1,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Testing, Inspection & Certification","Industrial AI","Machine Vision & 3D Cameras"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-03T02:04:20Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":4,"expected_fill_days":76,"reasons":["conf:3","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-03T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":90000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/lumafield-it-specialist","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/lumafield-it-specialist.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-04T00:45:55Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":931,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4069,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-05T00:00:00Z"}}}
