We are employee owned and relationship powered.\nHOURS\nMonday - Friday 11AM - 8PM \nPOSITION SUMMARY\nLocated at our Toledo, OH location, the person in this position would assist with picking and preparing orders for shipments as well as receive, transfer, and storage of incoming freight in our Toledo division. Day-to-day responsibilities include:\nLiving Out Lumbermen’s Culture - Leading in and modeling Lumbermen’s core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen’s is ‘first choice’ of our customers.\nDetail Oriented - Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock.\nEquipment Usage - Using fork trucks and order picking equipment. \nLoading Products - Loading outbound transfer trucks.\nPreparing Orders - Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment\nSafety - Securing and labeling products for delivery\nProcess - Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.\nOpen Communication - Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.\nTeamwork - Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor\nAt Lumbermen’s, we pride ourselves on treating our customers like family and delivering exceptional service. It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is highly organized and detail-oriented, service-minded, a strong and friendly communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. \nThis position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE. \nREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma/GED required.\nPrior Warehouse Experience \nREQUIRED SKILLS\nStrong communication skills\nSafe working practices\nNatural detail-orientation\nAbility to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to operate a forklift\nAbility to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nLumbermen’s exists to enrich the lives of people by intentionally caring for all who experience us.
