We are employee owned and relationship powered.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nBased out of our Cadillac Division, the person in this position would be responsible for assisting with managing inventory in our warehouse as well as picking up product from our suppliers and delivering it to our customers. Specifically, the responsibilities for this position include:\nInspecting and checking in incoming products to ensure it meets our quality standards\nEnsuring accuracy and timeliness of orders\nUsing proper inventory management procedures for assigned inventory\nManaging product safely and effectively from receiving to shipment and delivery\nSafely loading/transporting/unloading product\nMaintaining Lumbermen’s supplied vehicle through following DOT regulations\nFollowing all DOT safety regulations\nMaintaining a clean and safe work environment both onsite and on the road\nRepresenting Lumbermen’s in a positive and professional manner in all situations\nAt Lumbermen’s, our business is built on relationships. It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success. \nThis position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE. \nREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma\nCDL-A license preferred\nPrior warehouse experience is required\nREQUIRED SKILLS\nStrong communication skills\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously\nSafe working practices\nAccuracy and detail-orientation\nInclination to do things right the first time\nAbility to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks\nAbility to properly identify colors for the purpose of pulling orders\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to operate a forklift\nAbility to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs\nAbility to bend, twist, and stoop\nAbility to work on feet for 8-10 hours per day\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nLumbermen’s exists to enrich the lives of people by intentionally caring for all who experience us.
