If you’re ready to take ownership, deliver meaningful impact, and help shape the future of AI-ready connectivity, join us today.\nThe Role\nPeople employed in this position are primarily responsible for Financial Inventory Reporting for Enterprise, budgeting and alignment with stakeholders, inventory management, material forecasting, material forecasting accuracy/analysis/reporting and vendor supply chain forecasting coordination and escalation. This involves partnering with internal Finance and Network Planning/Operation teams to understand time-based product needs, supplier supply chain capacity/lead-times, inventory supply analysis, as well as the attention to detail required to maintain inventory in the right place at the right time.\nThe Main Responsibilities\nJob Description\nCoordinate with supplier’s on Forecasting/Planning and existing order delivery timing based on business needs\nMaintain appropriate warehouse inventory levels\nProvide feedback to appropriate departments on meeting customer requirements\nQuote lead times for equipment delivery for requested service times\nQuickly react to usage levels to meet customer orders and minimize company risk\nManage effective relationships with third party vendors\nDevelop, improve, and monitor reporting processes\nMake recommendations to management regarding improvements in the control processes to better enable the company to be efficient, cut costs and improve cycles to customers\nFollow up on open orders and issues that have not been resolved\nMonthly reporting metrics\nOverall management of orders from order entry to shipment delivery and return for global shipments\nMaintain inventory levels for stock, VMI and min/max on a global basis\nProvide feedback to appropriate departments on meeting customer requirements.\nQuote lead times for equipment retrieval or procurement for requested service times\nEffectively manage usage levels to meet customer orders and minimize company risk\nWork with other departments to ensure proper processes\nData entry inot proper systems for shipments and inventory\nManage relationship with third part vendors and 3PL providers globally\nDevelop, improve and monitor reporting processes\nMake recommendations to management regarding improvements in control processes to better enable the company to be efficient, cut costs and improve cycles to customers\nFollow up on open orders and issues that have not been resolved\nWhat We Look For in a Candidate\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred.\n8+ years’ experience in Inventory Planning\nProven experience working with SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, or similar).\nExcellent communication, and interpersonal skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP reporting tools.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and solve issues\nStrong computer skills including Excel, and Microsoft Windows programs\nCapable of multitasking between multiple order notifications and vendors\nAbility to maintain accuracy and strong attention to detail.\nEffective communication skills both written and verbal\nStrong Customer Service skills\nExperience with SAP or other ERP systems\nApproachable demeanor with professional, relationship-building skills\nFlexible schedule - global time differences\nPrivacy Notice\nLumen is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information collected during the recruitment and hiring process.
