control, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for optical and photonic products.\nThis role is responsible for ensuring process stability, resolving production issues, improving product quality and yield, and optimizing existing processes to achieve production, delivery, and cost objectives.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nManufacturing Process Sustaining\nMonitor manufacturing-process performance using SPC and other analytical tools.\nMaintain process stability and ensure manufacturing processes meet production, quality, and cost targets.\nReview manufacturing information and traceability records for accuracy and compliance.\nProvide timely technical support to production operators and technicians.\nTroubleshooting & Problem Solving\nTroubleshoot process, yield, quality, material, and equipment-related issues.\nConduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nAnalyze production data to identify process trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.\nWork with relevant teams to ensure corrective actions are completed effectively.\nProcess Improvement & Operational Excellence\nDevelop, validate, and implement process improvements.\nImprove product quality and yield while reducing defects, cycle time, and manufacturing costs.\nLead or support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement activities.\nSupport automation and manufacturing-efficiency improvement initiatives.\nNew Product & Process Introduction\nSupport new product introduction and transfer processes from development to mass production.\nCollaborate with R&D, NPI, Production, Quality, and Equipment Engineering teams.\nSupport process qualification, validation, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.\nIdentify manufacturing risks and establish appropriate process controls.\nDocumentation & Compliance\nDevelop and maintain process specifications, work instructions, control plans, and Engineering Change Orders.\nEnsure manufacturing processes comply with quality systems, operational procedures, and customer requirements.\nSupport internal, external, and customer audits as required.\nEnsure compliance with safety, ESD, cleanroom, and company requirements.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or sustaining engineering.\nExperience in optical, photonic, electronics, semiconductor, or high-technology manufacturing is preferred.\nKnowledge of SPC, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.\nStrong troubleshooting, data-analysis, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to prepare and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation.\nGood
