Professional training or certification from a robot manufacturer is preferred. The candidate should be able to;\nUnderstand robot coordinate systems, TCP, work objects, payload, reach, singularity, and robot accuracy.\nPerform basic forward and inverse kinematics calculations.\nCreate robot programs and teach positions safely.\nDesign and verify robot end-of-arm tooling.\nSelect grippers, vacuum systems, sensors, actuators, and safety devices.\nIntegrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, cameras, and factory communication networks.\nUnderstand digital I/O, analog I/O, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, or equivalent protocols.\nPerform robot-to-camera calibration and coordinate transformation.\nAnalyze robot repeatability, process capability, and positioning errors.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and communication problems.\n\n· Knowledge of the fundamentals of the mechanical engineering curriculum including thermodynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, dynamics, material science and machine design.\n· Knowledge of mechanical hardware, pneumatic hardware, electrical components and basic electrical circuitry.\n· Knowledge of and ability to apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) practices as well as tolerance analysis.\n· Knowledge of and ability to design automation machines and automated systems.\n· Proficiency in the use of a 2D/3D solid modeling mechanical CAD tools; SolidEdge or Solidworks\n· Knowledge of and experience in supplier capability assessment audit.\n· Knowledge of and ability to apply lean manufacturing principles.\n· Well understand of telecommunication and optical communication system.\nRequired Professional Experiences\n· [Least Required] At least 5 years in Research & Development working environment and experience in full scale of product and/or machine development.\n· [Least Required] 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial robotics, automation, machine design, or system integration.\n· [Least Required] Experience with at least one industrial robot or collaborative robot.\n· [Least Required] Experience with robot programming, teaching, calibration, and troubleshooting.\n· [Least Required] Experience integrating robots with sensors, tooling, conveyors, PLCs and/or vision systems.\n· [Preferred] Experience with pick-and-place, assembly, insertion, dispensing, palletizing, or inspection applications.\n· [Preferred] Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and production ramp-up.\n· [Preferred] Experience working with suppliers or turnkey machine builders.\n· [Preferred] Experience with industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, and image-processing software such as Matrox, Cognex, Keyence, HALCON, or equivalent.\n· [Preferred] Understanding of calibration, pixel resolution, field of view, distortion, depth of field, and lighting control\n· [Preferred] Experience with OCR, pattern recognition, measurement, defect detection, or object-location applications\n·
