You will develop algorithms and methods that optimize the performance of our next generation of photonic modules, used both in long-haul networks as well as inside modern AI datacenters. You will be part of a hard-working and diverse team that is continually learning how to enhance our products.\nStudents working in this group are exposed to and will learn about several state-of-the-art technologies including LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon), MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), phase modulators and other free-space optical assemblies. In addition, students collaborate with the firmware, hardware, optical design and verification teams throughout their work terms.
