We are looking for a hands-on senior developer to take technical ownership of embedded Linux application software from design through implementation, integration, and verification. You will work closely with software, hardware, systems, and verification teams to deliver reliable products used in demanding optical networking environments.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nOwn the design and implementation of embedded application software for OCS product features, including technical decisions for assigned components.\nWork with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, author and review designs. Plan and execute implementation.\nDevelop, maintain, and review production code and unit/integration tests; support integration and system verification.\nInvestigate software issues on target hardware using logs, debugging tools, and collaboration with hardware and verification teams.\nReview code and designs, communicate technical risks and trade-offs, and guide less experienced developers.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nEducation:\n Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience:\nCore Requirements:\nAt least 4 years of hands-on embedded C/C++ development on Linux for Arm and/or x86 platforms, with demonstrated ability to design and deliver software independently.\nSolid understanding of multithreaded software design, source control using Git, and systematic troubleshooting and debugging.\n Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working across software and hardware teams.\nHardware-facing development or lab debugging using interfaces such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, ADCs, or DACs; JTAG debugging and schematic reading\nEmbedded Linux build and development tools such as Yocto, cross-compilation, Python, Go, or shell scripting.\nSkills:\nLinux networking or network management software, including experience with one or more of SONiC, OpenConfig, YANG, gNMI, gNOI, SNMP, or NETCONF.\nDistributed or service-based software using technologies such as Redis, Docker, gRPC, or Protocol Buffers.\nPerks You’ll Love\nFlexible time off\nHealth and wellness benefits (physical and mental)\nTuition reimbursement and career growth support\nA workplace built for you: free gym, games room, prayer room\nSubsidized meals, free coffee/tea\nEmployee stock options and incentive plans\nA collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture\nSalary Range\n The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000\nFinal compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
