Participates in all phases of the development lifecycle: assisting in initial requirements gathering and design and then independently delivering software through the coding, testing, and deployment phases. Fluent in leveraging AI tools to accelerate software development activities.Job Description:\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDelivers well-tested, peer-reviewed work on time, taking ownership of the quality of what ships and helping resolve issues and errors as they arise.\nParticipates in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to coding and testing, working with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment (Development Leads, Architects, Quality Engineers, DBAs, Product Managers, Healthcare experts, etc.).\nCodes and tests applications using TypeScript, React Native, and device-specific languages (Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective C).\nFluently uses AI Tools to accelerate engineering activities, while retaining accountability for code and functional quality\nGuides promotion of mobile applications through the deployment and release processes, adeptly navigating requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store\nBuilds secure, privacy-conscious software appropriate to a regulated healthcare environment (e.g., HIPAA), handling protected health information responsibly.\nBuilds mobile applications that conform to accessibility requirements (e.g. WCAG 2.2 AA standards)\nIdentifies, develops, and evangelizes best practices, coding standards, and reusable frameworks, sharing them with other teams across the organization.\nDevelops the skills of colleagues through peer collaboration, mentoring, and code review.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / related field or equivalent.\nFive or more years of software development experience in an enterprise environment, with a proven track record of delivering production software, or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role.\nExpert-level proficiency in core React Native technologies - Fabric, TurboModules, JSI (JavaScript Interface), Reanimated, Hermes JS engine\nProven experience building security conscious mobile applications utilizing OAuth2/OIDC, Biometrics, Keychain/Keystore encryption, SSL Pinning, OWASP MASVS\nAdvanced mobile application debugging skills - JS heap allocation leaks, re-render bottlenecks, and startup time bottlenecks using React DevTools, Flipper, Android Studio Profiler, and Xcode Instruments.\nStrong project management skills with the ability to guide team projects, manage and prioritize workload, and respond to changing demands/timelines\nIn-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles and their utilization in software projects.\nExperience collaborating with colleagues responsible for UI/UX design\nAbility to work within an Agile software development methodology.\nSolid problem-solving, analytical, and design skills.\nSolid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work constructively in a collaborative team environment.\nPreferred\nHealthcare industry experience.\nExperience leverage Over the Air (OTA) updates using Expo\nFull-stack experience in the Node ecosystem (e.g. NestJS)\nExperience in translating Figma prototypes into real applications\nWorking Conditions\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.\nDisclaimer\nThe job description describes the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.
