As you become familiar with our processes, you will have opportunities to take ownership of operational workflows and contribute to continuous improvement projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage inventories of chemicals, samples, reagents, consumables, and cell lines using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).\nRegister new laboratory equipment in the LIMS and maintain associated documentation, including manuals, certificates, maintenance records, and other supporting files.\nAssist with organizing laboratory records and operational documentation.\nSupport tracking of equipment maintenance, calibrations, and service activities.\nHelp coordinate routine operational activities, including stock management and supplier deliveries.\nContribute to process improvement and laboratory organization projects.\nSupport day-to-day laboratory operations, including receiving and unpacking deliveries, restocking supplies, managing laboratory waste, and other general lab support activities.\nAssist with laboratory organization and improvement projects.\nPerform routine quality control and batch testing of reagents used for cell culture.\nParticipate in shared laboratory responsibilities and contribute to the smooth running of the facility.\nHelp maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning laboratory environment.\nLearning Opportunities\nThis role improve the efficiency and organization of the laboratory, and start working on cell culture and routine laboratory techniques.\nRequirements\nAvailable to work 16 hours per week, preferably spread over multiple days, with a minimum shift length of 4 hours.\nCurrently living and studying in the Amsterdam area.\nPursuing a degree in a biology-related field (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences).\nInterest in gaining hands-on experience in a biotechnology laboratory environment.\nComfortable working on both administrative and laboratory-related tasks.\nAble to learn and work with digital systems, including inventory management and LIMS software.\nPhysically capable of performing practical tasks such as lifting packages and using a step ladder.\nWell
