We’re just getting started.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nWe are seeking an experienced Product Engineer who will be responsible for the development and oversight of manufacturing processes supporting our optical transceiver roadmap. The successful candidate will work closely with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional development teams to meet product objectives and instill a culture of quality and continuous improvement.\nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nEnd-to-end manufacturing ownership: Ensure all the changes to product, processes, materials, etc. are under change control and follow established QMS requirements.\n\nResponsible for product yield, quality and reliability, as the lead contact for delivering products to customers\n\nResponsible for the accuracy of manufacturing BOM and driving product quality, operational productivity, and total cost of manufacturing\n\nResponsible for analyzing, defining, developing, and executing continuous improvement plans to achieve yield, cycle time, throughput, and scrap reduction.\n\nTrack manufacturing test results and ensure compliance with specification\n\nResponsible for product documentation and specifications\n\nCollaborate with quality team for planning and execution of qualification testing\n\nCollaborate with design team and process engineering to ensure design for manufacturing (DFM) guidelines are met\n\nPrepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarising information and trends\n\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field plus 7 years experience in high-volume optical transceiver manufacturing\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nExperience with manufacturing processes and manufacturing engineering of optical transceivers.\n\nIn-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in product manufacturing BOM, yield analysis, problem solving, implementation of manufacturing processes.\n\nExperience in transceiver product or optic assembly such as wire bond, die bond, active optical alignment, product testing, burn-in, etc., are preferable.\n\nExperience in ongoing reliability testing and quality control best practices.\n\nExpertise in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and report generation.\n\nIn depth understanding of the quality management system and quality standard requirements.\n\nExpertise in optics FA processes and tools.\n\nAbility to work well in a geographically diverse cross-functional team.\n\nGood command in English communication both verbal and
