You will serve as the overarching owner of equipment performance, driving everything from the initial procurement and facility setup to ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on expertise in wafer-level assembly machinery and thrives on minimizing downtime through robust predictive maintenance strategies.\nKey Responsibilities\nEquipment Lifecycle Management: Lead the evaluation, selection, procurement, set-up, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment and the necessary facility infrastructures.\n\nAdvanced Tool Ownership: Serve as the subject matter expert for advanced packaging and wafer-level assembly equipment, specifically handling back-grinders, stealth dicers, expanders, flip-chip bonders, pick-and-place systems, reflow ovens and solder paste printers\n\nUptime Optimization: Take overall ownership of maintaining high equipment up-time and proactively minimizing unscheduled down-time across the production floor.\n\nMaintenance Strategy: Design, implement, and execute highly effective periodic and predictive maintenance programs for all production equipment to ensure consistent operational efficiency and yield.\n\nRequirements & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related discipline.\n\nExtensive hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced packaging and wafer-level assembly equipment.\n\nProven track record of defining equipment specifications, driving vendor selection, and completing successful machine buy-offs (FAT/SAT).\n\nStrong analytical skills for root-cause analysis of equipment failures and the ability to implement permanent corrective actions.\n\nExperience establishing predictive maintenance protocols in a high-tech manufacturing or cleanroom environment.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary and benefits\n\nOpportunities for career advancement\n\nWork with a world-class team solving cutting-edge challenges\n\nCollaborative and innovative work environment\n\nLumilens is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
