# Assistant General Counsel

Basic Function The Assistant General Counsel provides strategic legal counsel and transactional support across the organization, closely collaborating with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Risk teams. This role is critical in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, including B2B SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements, ensuring robust compliance with financial regulations, data privacy standards, and corporate policies. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong commercial insight to facilitate product commercialization, proactively mitigates legal and business risks, and integrates legal considerations effectively into strategic operations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Support a west-coast growth team in revenue-generating contract negotiations Structure, draft, review, and negotiate diverse contracts, including complex SaaS, technology, customer, and vendor agreements. Provide legal representation and guidance within senior leadership and business unit meetings.
