or New York, New York.\nAbout the role\nAs a Software Engineer working on Platform, you will design, build, and improve the core infrastructure and systems that Luminai runs on, ensuring the platform is reliable, scalable, and ready to support rapid growth.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead platform and backend projects from planning through implementation\n\nBuild and maintain shared libraries, services, and internal APIs that product engineers / FDEs rely on\n\nImprove the developer workflow: build times, CI/CD pipelines, test infrastructure, and local development setup\n\nContribute to core platform direction, using system improvements to support higher scale and reliability\n\nMaintain and extend Luminai infrastructure across compute, data, and deployment systems\n\nChampion good engineering practice through code review, testing, and maintainability\n\nDesign and implement robust APIs, authentication, and middleware that hold up under load\n\nHarden production systems with sensible defaults around access control and secrets management\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nProven track record of shipping high-quality code in challenging projects\n\nSignificant experience working with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend services (Python and/or similar languages)\n\nWorking knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure and production systems (access control, secrets management, secure networking)\n\nExceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work across the
