Reasonable accommodations are available to qualified individuals with disabilities in performing the essential functions.\nMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand or using forklifts, or other equipment.\nExamine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.\nRecord shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.\nConfer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.\nRead work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.\nReceive and sign for deliveries; Unload deliveries.\nStock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.\nOperate equipment such as forklifts.\nStore items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.\nClean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.\nConduct cycle counts based on systems requirements.\nObtain merchandise from bins or shelves.\nReceive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.\nProvide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.\nExamine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.\nReport discrepancies to correct buyer. \nReport past due purchase orders to the correct buyer.\nOther job duties as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS:TheShipping Clerk I will be an experienced candidate who can successfully lead as a very hands-on Shipping Clerk to scale for additional growth and maximize potential.\nThis candidate will possess:\nHS diploma or equivalent, required\nAt least 3 years of experience in inventory, shipping and receiving or related field; knowledge of schematics, preferred.\nKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.\nKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.\nKnowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and workplace terminology.\nAbility to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.\nAbility to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.\n ADDITIONAL PRIORITIES:The Shipping Clerk will prioritize and broadly execute the following:\nAbility to take initiative by identifying problems, conceptualizing resolutions, and implementing change along with having attention to detail skills.\nAbility to prioritize and manage projects to ensure all deadlines are met is essential. \nAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.\nAbility to work efficiently and accurately with details and fluctuating work volumes.\nAbility to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.\nAbility to monitor and assess self-performance to make improvements or take corrective action.\nAbility to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.\nAbility to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.\nAbility to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.\nAbility to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.\nAbility to speak clearly so others comprehend the delivery of the message.\nAbility to read and explain schematics, preferred.\nAbility to lift up to 60lbs occasionally.\nLuminator Technology Group intends to provide a safe and drug-free work environment for our customers and our employees.
