Represents Luminis Health RISE Values in every interaction with patients, families, co-workers, and colleagues.\nEssential Job Duties:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nAssists with admissions, transfers and discharges\nCollaborates with hospital personnel to ensure optimal patient care and promote a positive working environment in Unit and Hospital.\nManage unit call volumes\nCoordinates communication on patient care unit\nMaintains patient medical records to ensure they are current and accurate\nMaintains patient and unit supplies economically and efficiently, including PPE\nCoordinates communication at the Nurses’ Station and patient care unit\nParticipates in programs designed to increase the quality of patient care.\nMaintains nurse call and monitoring system\nConducts Environmental care rounds\nMaintain work orders\nWelcome and escort unit visitors\nFacilitates discharge coordination which includes transportation arrangements and discharge packets\nCoordinates unit ASCOM messages\n*Assists all healthcare partners such as PT, OT, Speech, Providers, and case managers\nManage bed board and patient disposition\nDistribute staff communication\nAssist unit leadership with unit projects as assigned\nScheduling for infusion center ( for 3 floor only)\nEducational/Experience Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nOne-year previous Unit Clerk experience or in a clerical position in a similar health care setting preferred.\nWorking knowledge of basic medical terminology\nRequired License/Certifications:\nN/A\nWorking Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:\nThere is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.\nPhysical Demands -\nMust be able to hear normal sounds with some background noise\nRoutinely lifts objects under 20 pounds\nThe physical demands and work environment that have been described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
