Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, you will help drive smarter decisions, better processes, and stronger business results.\n\nTake ownership of data quality within your business area (with focus on legal entities data, sales reporting) and ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable.\n\nDefine and maintain business aglossaries, data definitions, and metadata standards.\n\nMonitor data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation actions.\n\nSupport implementation of data governance policies, standards, and best practices.\n\nEnsure data is compliant, consistent, and fit for business and regulatory purposes.\n\nGather, analyze, and document business requirements for new initiatives, process changes, and data improvements.\n\nTranslate business needs into clear functional and data requirements for delivery teams.\n\nDesign and document data-related solutions, including data mappings, transformation logic, and business rules to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.\n\nMaintain a holistic view of business and data requirements, ensuring traceability and identifying dependencies and synergies across the organization.\n\nAnalyze data trends, business performance, and operational results on a need basis. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.\n\nSupport creation of dashboards, KPIs, and sales reporting.\n\nHelp business teams better understand available data and how to use it effectively.\n\nAct as the key contact between business users, IT, Data Engineering, BI, and other stakeholders.\n\nBuild strong relationships across functions to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.\n\nFacilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to align priorities and solutions.\n\nPromote a data-driven culture across the organization.\n\nShare knowledge, coach colleagues, and support capability building within the team.\n\nRequirements\n\nEducational background in Economics, Business Management, Finance, IT or any related field\n\nProven work experience as Data Steward, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, IT System Analyst or similar\n\nAt least 3 years professional experience in the area of data governance and data management\n\nAt least 1 year experience with banking or other finance industry, good knowledge of the Bank products, processes and IT systems\n\nVery Good SQL knowledge, ability to work with large data sets to find quality issues, detect data structures etc.\n\nVery good understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts and ability to apply and use in practice data profiling techniques\n\nVery good understanding of IT database structures/principles\n\nVery good knowledge of MS Office and Project management tools (e.g., Atlassian JIRA, Confluence)\n\nAbility to be a 3bridge4 between IT and business\n\nProblem solver mindset and attention to details\n\nDetail-oriented person while having excellent communication skills, both written and oral\n\nInitiative and high-level of responsibility\n\nGood to advanced business knowledge with regulatory reporting experience across banking products, systems, processes, and financial data; Prior regulatory or financial reporting experience is a strong advantage\n\nFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level\n\nNice to have\n\nExperience in working with DWH, Tableau/PowerBI, Cloud Data Warehouse e.g. Kafka, Iceberg, BIAN, Snowflake/DataBrick, any ETL or Data Governance tool / solution will be considered as strong advantage\n\nData Management or Data Stewardship certification would be considered as an advantage e.g. DAMA\n\nCompany offers\n\nFlexibility.
