As well as drive high performance through proactive risk management and collaboration.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead and perform targeted or ad-hoc Independent Assurance activities\n\nServe as a subject matter expert in the assigned areas and maintain industry relations\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain the Independent Assurance framework and methodology\n\nProactively identify, propose improvements and changes for assurance processes and framework and develop tailor-made solutions\n\nGuide Assurance Department employees and ensure quality documentation\n\nEnsure compliance activities meet regulatory requirements\n\nWithin the objectives of department, contribute to Compliance Risk Assessment and internal, external reporting\n\nFollow up on gaps and remediation actions and escalate risks related to those\n\nPlan and prioritize Assurance activities in the Department\n\nCoordinate tasks, projects with stakeholders in Luminor with little guidance\n\nParticipate in projects and other Compliance Division activities\n\nWhat We Expect: \nHigher education in Internal Audit, Law, Economics, Business Management, Finance, or related field\n\nExperience of at least 5-7 years in compliance assurance activities\n\nExtensive knowledge and experience of best practices in managing Compliance risks associated with the bank business model\n\nAnalytical, critical thinking and ability to propose justified decisions\n\nVery good understanding of banking products, processes, and IT systems\n\nExpertise in working with regulatory aspects and business processes, expert knowledge of European and Baltic regulations\n\nAdvanced English language proficiency in spoken and written communication and excellent Latvian, Lithuanian or Estonian language skills\n\nPreferred certifications in Internal Audit, Sanctions and/or AML area\n\nAbility to act independently and proactively on new or special assignments\n\nStrong people, project coordination skills and exceptional ability to manage stakeholders\n\nQuick learning, thoroughness, and accountability\n\nWhy You Will Love Working Here:\nFlexibility.
