You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flows across systems, and help us move towards a modern, decentralized data architecture inspired by data mesh principles.\n\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nDesign, implement, and continuously improve systems for data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharing\n\nBuild and optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability\n\nDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools and frameworks\n\nDesign and operate Apache Spark data pipelines on Amazon EMR and AWS Glue, using Apache Iceberg tables across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of the Medallion framework\n\nEnsure seamless integration and synchronization across lending automation systems, retail lending tools and processing systems\n\nUphold high standards of data quality, security, availability, and performance within data mesh principles\n\nCollaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions\n\nPerform technical specification and code reviews, integration testing, troubleshoot software, and fix defects\n\nImplement monitoring and alerting for data workflows\n\nGain expertise in a variety of banking processes and products\n\nWork as part of a cross-functional Agile development team in a Pan-Baltic, international environment according to data mesh principles\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit:\nProven experience with SQL /Python and data warehousing\n\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\n\nHands-on experience with Apache Spark, including performance tuning and development of scalable pipelines\n\nExperience implementing lakehouse architectures with Apache Iceberg and Medallion layers, preferably using Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and the AWS Glue Data Catalog\n\nFamiliarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow or dbt\n\nExperience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, SAP Sybase IQ)\n\nExperience with ETL/ELT designer tools\n\nKnowledge of solution integrations (real-time, message-based, event-driven)\n\nExperience within the Anti-Financial Crime/AML domain is a strong advantage\n\nAbility to take ownership and drive initiatives independently\n\nFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level\n\nWhy You Will Love Working Here:\nGross salary. 4,190-5,700 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies\n\nFlexibility.
