You will work with modern data engineering practices, contribute to our Data Lakehouse platforms, and help shape the future of our cloud-native data ecosystem.\nExperience with Oracle or Sybase data warehouses is a plus, but not required.\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nDesign, build, and own end-to-end data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and scalable data products\n\nLead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of Data Lakehouse architectures using AWS services and open table formats\n\nDevelop and operate large-scale data processing solutions using Apache Spark on AWS EMR\n\nDesign, develop, and orchestrate complex workflows using Apache Airflow\n\nIntegrate data from multiple internal and external sources while ensuring high levels of data quality, reliability, and performance\n\nImplement and maintain cloud-native data lakes using AWS Glue, Apache Iceberg, Parquet, and object storage technologies\n\nEnable analytical and self-service access to data through Amazon Athena and support downstream reporting and analytics in Power BI\n\nDefine, improve, and govern data models, data contracts, engineering standards, and platform best practices\n\nReview technical designs and code, mentor other engineers, and act as a trusted technical reference within the team\n\nCollaborate closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to drive data platform initiatives\n\nIdentify scalability, performance, operational, and data quality challenges and proactively implement improvements\n\nContribute to platform reliability through monitoring, operational support, CI/CD practices, and automation\n\nSupport modernization and migration initiatives from legacy Oracle and Sybase data warehouses to modern cloud-native platforms when required\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nStrong experience in data engineering within enterprise-scale environments\n\nAdvanced SQL skills and a solid understanding of analytical, dimensional, and data warehouse modeling concepts\n\nHands-on experience designing and operating modern Data Lakehouse or cloud-native data platforms\n\nProven experience with AWS data technologies, including EMR, Glue, Athena, S3-based data lakes, and related services\n\nStrong experience building distributed data processing solutions using Apache Spark\n\nSolid Python development skills for ETL/ELT development, automation, and data processing\n\nExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-performing data pipelines\n\nPractical experience working with Apache Iceberg, Parquet, and modern data storage formats\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD practices, platform observability, monitoring, and operational support\n\nExperience working with Oracle or Sybase-based data warehouse technologies is advantageous\n\nExposure to data platform modernization, migration, or transformation initiatives is considered a strong plus\n\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to evaluate systems from an end-to-end perspective\n\nAbility to independently drive technical solutions and make well-reasoned engineering decisions\n\nConfidence leading technical discussions with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders\n\nA continuous learning mindset and genuine interest in emerging cloud, data, and lakehouse technologies\n\nFluent English, both spoken and written, is required due to collaboration across the Pan-Baltic organization\n\nWhy You Will Love Working Here:\nGross salary. 3,700 - 5,900 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies\n\nFlexibility.
