This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing technology strategy, and enabling teams to deliver high-quality solutions at scale.\n\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nLead the technical design and evolution of integration and platform services supporting all business streams across Luminor\n\nDefine and drive architectural standards, engineering best practices, and technical roadmaps for Java-based solutions\n\nDesign, implement, and improve messaging, APIs, service-to-service communication, file exchange, and workflow management solutions\n\nLead the adoption and evolution of event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka\n\nProvide technical leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle, from solution design to production operations\n\nMentor and support engineers while fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence\n\nReview architecture proposals, solution designs, and code to ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability\n\nPartner with architects, product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions\n\nDrive technical discussions, lead Proof of Concepts and technology evaluations, and support technical decision-making\n\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks, support complex troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives\n\nContribute to platform modernization, cloud transformation, and engineering strategy in an Agile international environment\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit:\nExtensive hands-on experience in software engineering using Java (preferably Java 21) and Spring Boot\n\nProven experience designing and delivering complex distributed and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka or similar technologies\n\nStrong architectural mindset with experience building scalable, resilient, and cloud-native solutions\n\nHands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices\n\nDeep understanding of microservices architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and API design principles\n\nExperience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions across teams\n\nStrong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including testing, security, observability, performance optimization, and reliability engineering\n\nSolid understanding of SQL databases; experience with NoSQL databases is an advantage\n\nAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution and ownership of initiatives from concept to delivery\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative leadership style and passion for building high-performing teams\n\nFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level \n\nWhy You Will Love Working Here:\nFlexibility.
